Cheers from Uganda, got here after a looooong flight. Saw a powerful movie: Under the Bombs, about a mother who loses her son in the Israeli bombing of Lebanon. Ouch; how lucky we are not to be living in a war zone.

Apparently there is an African-American playwright named Ntozake Shange who says 'Where there is a Woman, there is Magic.' I agree!
